Roy Hui is the founder of Hui Tax Consulting, LLC, and has provided responsive, relevant, and objective advice on multistate sales and use tax issues for clients in various industries for over 35 years.
Roy has represented clients in numerous audits and appeals, recovered millions in overpaid tax and provided guidance with regards to registration, the application of tax and process improvement. He is a trusted advisor and advocate for his clients in all matters concerning sales and use taxes.
Roy is a former field tax auditor and policy analyst for the State of California, manager with PricewaterhouseCoopers and managing director of a boutique consulting firm. Roy received his B.S. in Accounting from San Jose State University and his certification (CMI) in Sales Tax in 2004 from the Institute of Professionals in Taxation (IPT).
Roy is an avid cyclist and enjoys golf, traveling and rooting for the San Francisco Giants in his free time.
